Apply Paint to the Pad

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

  • Recommended use is to hold the cut-in painter with one hand and then use a paint brush with the other hand to apply paint to the pad
  • Other methods to apply paint is e.g. by dipping into paint also works
  • Place the front blade first on the surface and then as you start to paint lower the body
  • Always keep the front blade clean of paint to ensure a clean paint line.

CLEANING

  • Remove the pad from the body before cleaning
  • For PVA paints use water first and then soap and water to clean the pad
  • Only use water to clean the body, do not use strong chemicals like thinners to clean the body
  • Oil based paints, clean the pad with thinners but do not use thinners on the body.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

  • For longer lifespan of the pad use water based paints
  • Oil based paints can be used though it is recommended to use the pad only once
  • The angled blade on the front of the main body will wear over time. Once it is worn out replace the main body to ensure a clean cut is achieved
